KCI History
In 1986, Glenn Kunkel started his company doing single-family residential construction.
After completing his engineering degree in 1992 at the University of Colorado Boulder, he worked as a County Engineer for Arapahoe County while also growing his companies residential and earthwork operations.
Today, with over 200 pieces of heavy equipment, KCI moves millions of yards of dirt, completes miles of wet utilities and roadways annually along with vertical construction, including homes, commercial buildings, apartments, and industrial work.
