Our History
In 1986, Glenn Kunkel started the company doing single-family residential construction.
After completing his engineering degree in 1992 at the University of Colorado Boulder, he worked as a County Engineer for Arapahoe County while also growing his companies residential and earthwork operations.
In 2000, Glenn left the county to pursue the rapid growth of the company, with over 400 subcontractors/suppliers completing work in over 20 locations throughout Colorado.
By 2010, despite setbacks caused by the recession, the company diversified into other areas and continued to grow, adding personnel and equipment.
Today, with over 200 pieces of heavy equipment, the company moves millions of yards of dirt, completing miles of wet utilities and roadways each year, along with vertical construction, including homes, commercial buildings, apartments, and industrial work.
